Q:  How does it work?
A:  The recipient's phone will ring and when it is answered your text message will be automatically read to them. If the recipient does not answer the phone, your text message will be stored as voicemail. (Recipient must have a voicemail service on their landline.) Recipients can also reply to the text message and leave a message for you.

Text to Landline will attempt 2 redials of the number. The first redial is 5 minutes after the initial attempt. The second redial is 15 minutes after the first attempt, if no one answers during the first redial attempt.

A:  There is no limitation on the length of the voice reply.

Q:  If the landline destination has call blocking will the text message show the Caller ID of the originator?
A:  The transmission of Caller ID to all landline numbers throughout the country is not perfect. It is always possible that the Caller ID of the sending phone can get dropped as the call moves through different switches throughout the country. If the Caller ID is dropped, the number of the originator will not be displayed or call blocking may prevent the call from being delivered.
