Q:  IDEN Update is no longer available - What do I need to know?
A:  As of 8/30/2004, the IDEN Update web site was longer available. In its place, Sprint offers www.nextel.com/downloads, a web site with all the latest digital content available for you to personalize your Nextel phone.

Q:  Who should I contact regarding purchases made from IDEN Update prior to 8/30/2004?
A:  Questions concerning purchases made from IDEN Update before 8/30/2004 should be directed to Motorola at 1-800-453-0920.

Q:  After 8/30/2004, what will happen to my IDEN Update customer information such as my login name and password?
A:  After 8/30/04, your IDEN Update customer account information (including your current login name and password) will be removed.

Q:  What happens to items I've purchased and haven't downloaded yet?
A:  Anything purchased from IDEN Update that was not downloaded before 8/30/2004 will be unavailable for download on or after 8/30/2004. Motorola will not offer refunds.

Q:  What about re-downloaded purchases from IDEN Update?
A:  Previously downloaded Java-based games and applications will continue to be available for over-the-air re-download at no additional cost using the Java Apps > Download Apps > Re-downloads menu on your Nextel phone. Previously purchased Ring Tones and Wallpaper are not available for re-downloading.

Q:  Can I still perform tethered (data cable) downloads?
A:  As of 8/30/04, www.nextel.com/downloads will provide over-the-air downloading only and will NOT support tethered/data cable downloads. Learn more about the Data Service Pack you will need to perform an over-the-air download.

Q:  What will happen if I visit the IDEN Update web site after 8/30/2004?
A:  Attempts to visit IDEN Update after 8/30/2004 will automatically redirect you to www.nextel.com/downloads.

Q:  Can I still get phone software upgrades and the "Download Apps" utility?
A:  Yes, you will be able to upgrade your phone software and get the 'Download Apps' client from a Motorola web site. You can find links to the Motorola web site at www.nextel.com/downloads. Cables are required to perform a software upgrade and restore "Download Apps".
