Q:
I kept my existing Nextel rate plan when I upgraded to the Sprint Nextel Hybrid Phone, but my bill is showing my rate plan as being disconnected, is something wrong?
| A:
Don't be alarmed. Because the Sprint Nextel Hybrid Phone is taking advantage of both of Sprint Nextel's powerful networks, your rate plan was moved to a different billing platform. The rate plan charges should be the same as your last bill, but your bill will show the plan as disconnected and re-added. Your minute allowance and other rate plan terms will not be affected.Back To Top >>

Q:

I am an existing Sprint PCS customer. Can I keep my same rate plan if I upgrade to the hybrid phone?
| A:

Since you will now be taking advantage of our Sprint Nexetel Direct Connect services, you will be asked to switch to one of our voice and Direct Connect plans. You can learn more online, or visit a store to talk to a Sprint Nextel sales representative to find a plan that best meets your needs.
Please note, for existing Sprint PCS customers activating the Sprint Nextel Hybrid Phone, the existing Sprint PCS service plan will be expired. A $200 termination fee will be applied, which cannot be waived at this time.

Q:
I am an existing Sprint PCS customer who just switched to the Sprint Nextel Hybrid Phone. Why did I get a final bill?
| A:
Since the Sprint Nextel Hybrid Phone takes advantage of both the Sprint PCS and Nexetel Direct Connect® networks, your account was moved to a new billing system. This caused your Sprint PCS bill to be finalized. You will receive a new Sprint bill from our combined Sprint Nextel billing system.Back To Top >>

Q:
I am an existing Sprint PCS customer who just purchased the Sprint Nextel Hybrid Phone. Why am I now getting two bills?
| A:
Since the Sprint Nextel Hybrid Phone takes advantage of both the Sprint PCS and Nexetel Direct Connect® networks, your account had to be moved to our new billing system. In time, your Sprint PCS phones will also be moved to the new billing system. Until that time, you will be receiving two separate bills, one for your Sprint PCS services and one for your Sprint Nextel Hybrid Phone services and any other Nextel services. You will be contacted before your Sprint PCS services are combined with your Hybrid and Nextel services.Back To Top >>

Customers using Nextel data services prior to switching to the Sprint Nextel Hybrid Phone will be upgraded to comparable applications and data plans on the Nationwide Sprint PCS Network. In some cases, Nextel offered a lower price for these services. Customers switching to the Sprint Nextel Hybrid Phone can use Sprint PCS data applications for a year at the lower rate, if applicable.
