To provide superior coverage to our customers at an affordable rate, Sprint must take into consideration factors such as overall consumer demand and local government permits.

If you normally have access to Nextel Direct Connect service in the U.S., you should be able to use Nextel Direct Connect service in Mexico.
However customers who have one of Nextel's older phone models will not be able to use Nextel Direct Connect service when on the Nextel de Mexico network.
