Q:
I want to change my phone model from Address Book on the Web. I need to update my registration with my new IMEI/SIM. I am familiar with the IMEI but what is the SIM? Do I have to enter two numbers?
| A:
No, you do not need to enter two numbers. If you have a two-digit or three-digit series phone, please enter the SIM number (the 15- or 20-digit number on the SIM card), which can be removed from the phone. If you have a Plus-series phone (other than the i2000plus), please enter the IMEI from the back of your phone.
Note: It is important that you select the correct phone model from the drop-down list, or else you may disable the Address Book capability. For example, if you put the SIM card for an i860 phone into an i730 phone without updating the phone model in the drop-down list, the Address Book will not work. Back To Top >>
